WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN?
Answer: Increase prayer, alignment with His word, communicate & clarify God’s vision for this ministry, develop stewards (100% Tithers, 100% workers), train leaders, and promote unity in this ministry.
HOW LONG IS THE STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN
Answer: 3 years. Starts January 2010 thru January 2013
HOW WILL THE CAMPAIGN WORK?
Answer: Each family or individual will be asked to consider making a sacrificial financial commitment for the next 3 years.
WHEN WILL I MAKE MY FAITH COMMITMENT?
Answer: Your faith commitment card should be turned in on Commitment Sunday, December 13, 2009 for church members and November 22, 2009, for Leaders of the church.
WHEN WILL WE ACTUALLY START GIVING?
Answer: Sunday, January 3, 2010 will be the official “kick-off” date for pledging *but* we will start taking pledge amounts after December 13, 2009.
WHAT IS MY COMMITMENT AMOUNT?
Answer: The amount is an individual faith promise and we encourage you to seek GOD for guidance and allow HIM to lead and direct you in your commitment amount.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE MY COMMITMENT ONCE IT HAS BEEN MADE?
Answer: You can increase your commitment anytime during the three year period. We encourage you to let GOD lead you in your commitment.
HOW SHOULD I IDENTIFY MY GIFTS FOR THE STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN?
Answer: You can put your gift in the ’pledge’ envelopes.
WILL I BE PRESSURED TO GIVE?
Answer: No. You will be presented with the vision and challenge of the campaign and will be asked to pray about what GOD would have you to do. Your commitment will never be made public.
SHOULD I GIVE WEEKLY, MONTHLY OR ANNUALLY?
Answer: You should give in a manner which is most convenient for you.
CAN I WRITE ONE CHECK FOR MY TITHES AND PLEDGE PAYMENT?
Answer: Yes. Please be sure to write the amounts for each on the check and envelopes.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I FALL BEHIND ON MY PLEDGE?
Answer: Your contribution statement will reflect how much you have given toward your commitment. Periodically we will be sharing information with you on your overall progress in giving. Please contact the Finance Committee anytime you may have a question concerning how much you have given.
IS IT ALL ABOUT MONEY?
Answer: No. It’s about GOD. It’s about strengthening your personal relationship with GOD and building faith within.
IS THIS COMMITMENT ABOVE TITHES AND/OR OFFERINGS?
Answer: Yes. The commitment is above your tithes and offerings.
CAN I MAKE A PLEDGE PAYMENT ONLINE?
Answer: Yes. You can make a pledge online on our secured payment system. www.radliving.org
WHAT IS THE SET GOAL AMOUNT?
Answer: Our goal is to raise $1 million over the next three years. This will help eliminate debt and provide the capital for the construction of the new building.
IS THIS FIRST FRUIT OFFERING?
Answer: No. However, your first fruit offering can be applied to your pledge commitment.
